# Deployment Checklist for Redis-based Distributed System

## 1. **Install Redis:**
   - Install Redis on the central server.
   - Ensure Redis is configured for external connections (if required).
   - Set up authentication (passwords) and access control.

## 2. **Install PHP 8.2:**
   - Install PHP 8.2 with necessary extensions (`php-redis`, `php-fpm`).
   - Enable `php-redis` extension in `php.ini`.
   - Restart PHP-FPM service.

## 3. **Install OpenSwoole:**
   - Install OpenSwoole for asynchronous processing.
   - Verify OpenSwoole configuration to handle high concurrency.

## 4. **Install MySQL:**
   - Install MySQL server on the appropriate system for persistent data storage.
   - Ensure MySQL is configured for remote access if necessary.

## 5. **Install Nginx:**
   - Install Nginx to act as a reverse proxy and load balancer.
   - Configure Nginx to route traffic to PHP-FPM with OpenSwoole.

## 6. **Configure Redis with PHP:**
   - Use `php-redis` to interact with Redis from PHP scripts.
   - Set up caching logic (set and get keys, TTL settings).
   - Ensure all services can access the central Redis server.

## 7. **Firewall & Security:**
   - Open necessary ports:
     - Redis (default 6379).
     - PHP-FPM and Nginx ports.
   - Configure firewall to allow traffic from microservices to Redis and MySQL.

## 8. **Optional - Redis Sentinel:**
   - If needed, set up Redis Sentinel for high availability and failover.

## 9. **Test Redis Connection:**
   - Test PHP to Redis connectivity using sample `Redis` commands.
   - Check if cache updates and invalidations work across all microservices.

## 10. **Monitoring Tools (Optional):**
   - Install Redis Commander or similar tool for Redis management.
   - Optionally integrate Prometheus & Grafana for performance monitoring.
